Two New Jams from FUTURE SELVES

Today, dear friends, we give you the next TWO installments from FUTURE SELVES

The first is MY SUSPICIONS. This was one of the first songs written for the record and somewhat set the tone for the next few weeks of our creative process. You might see some consistancy in a few of the tunes and i believe this is the one that put them to pace. A little Floydian introspection, if you will.

The next song, LIKE IT USED TO BE is a bit furious in comparison. It's a little aggressive in nature but i guess that's the way it was meant to be. Listen to the lyrics and see why....

The second installment

Counting down the days until the album drops we thought we'd give it a slow drip...

The song TAKE YOUR MEDICINE is inspired by a society with an insatiable appetite for pharmaceutical relief. The cyclical process of medicating the ailments, both legitimate and fabricated, that rule our lives.

NEW NEWS!

Alright, so it's way too early in the AM but i've decided to make a bit of time to bring you all up to speed on the current happenings and latest developments...

As a lot of you know, we've recently completed the final phases of our new album, 'FUTURE SELVES'. This is exciting news for all of us since a fresh batch of tunes seems to be, and always has been of a catylist for progression.

The title of the record could not be more appropriate as we have explored new realms of songwriting through the process of recording and seemingly have created a landscape of previously uncharted territory...at least for us.

so, here's the news...

We will be playing a few shows in preparation for the two night stint at the Beauty Bar in San Diego and West Coast run of shows to celebrate the unveiling of the new record.

TRANSFER will join Music For Animals at a NY UNDERBELLY PARTY at 3 Clubs in Hollywood, CA on Thursday, Sep. 17th. This will be the only L.A. show prior to the FUTURE SELVES release. Come sweat it out!

Shortly thereafter, we head to Austin, TX for a pre-release show at the Beauty Bar AND an amazing video shoot.

All I can tell you now, is that the production team that has come together around this video concept is of the finest. We will show you all the exciting footage and stills taken from the shoot when it's all said and done.

Then, on to the FUTURE SELVES CD RELEASE at the Beauty Bar in San Diego.

We shall play two conciertos, muy especial. Complete with horns, strings, visuals and dwarfs dancing around a miniature Stonehenge.

Each night will feature one of our favorite bands from another city and our favorite local DJ's.

Also - look for our bass player, Cornsake making his appearance with a couple different projects this month in support of the Killers on their upcoming tour. His bass playing skills have afforded him the oportunity for musical promescuity and he has jumped. Look for him playing with our friends Halloween Town and

All that being said, i am pleased to announce we will be going through somewhat of a transformation in the coming weeks and invite you all to join us on our journey.
